Simon Knox (born 14 October 1972) is a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, and 2000s, and coach, playing at representative level for Scotland, and at club level for Carlisle, Bradford Northern, Salford, Workington Town, Halifax, Widnes, Leigh (twice), Swinton and Barrow, as a prop, or second-row, and coaching at club level for Blackpool and Leigh (Under-21s).Born in Whitehaven, Cumberland, Knox joined Carlisle from amateur club Hensingham in 1991.
