Shalom Luani (born 5 August 1994) is an American football safety for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Luani is better known worldwide for his association football career, having scored in American Samoa's first–ever FIFA–sanctioned win against Tonga. Luani, who now plays as a forward, scored twice for American Samoa in November 2011, making him (at the time) the country's joint–top goalscorer of all time with fellow forward Ramin Ott.He played college football at Washington State, and was drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
