Miles Edward Frank Briggs (born 30 March 1983) is a British politician who was elected as a Scottish Conservative and Unionist Member of Scottish Parliament for the Lothian region at the Scottish Parliament election, 2016.Briggs was educated at Auchtergaven Primary School, Perth Grammar School and Robert Gordon University.Briggs stood as the Conservative candidate in 2010 for the North East Fife constituency, then in the 2011 Scottish Parliament election for North East Fife.
