Michael Ricci (born October 27, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks and Phoenix Coyotes.Ricci grew up in Scarborough, Ontario and attended St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic school and Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute. He played hockey in the former Metro Toronto Hockey League (now Greater Toronto Hockey League) and was a 2nd round pick of the OHL's Peterborough Petes in 1987 after a strong season with the Toronto Marlboros Bantams.
