Mark I. Levy (June 28, 1949 – April 30, 2009) was an American lawyer who was a former deputy assistant attorney general in the United States Department of Justice, a former assistant to the Solicitor General of the United States, and a successful appellate attorney. In his career, he argued 16 cases before the Supreme Court of the United States.Levy earned a bachelor's degree summa cum laude and honors for exceptional distinction from Yale College in 1971 (with majors in physics and philosophy) and a law degree from Yale Law School in 1975.
