Lydia Marie Hearst-Shaw Hardwick (born September 19, 1984), commonly known as Lydia Hearst, is an American fashion model, actress, lifestyle blogger, and heiress to the publishing fortune established by her maternal great-grandfather, William Randolph Hearst.Hearst was born in Wilton, Connecticut, to Patty Hearst and Bernard Shaw. After graduating from Wilton High School, she attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.Always inspired by fashion, photography and the arts she was discovered by photographer Steven Meisel, who shot her first magazine cover for Vogue Italia in April 2004.
