Kevin Michael Shattenkirk (born January 29, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently playing for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. He previously played for the Washington Capitals and St. Louis Blues. He was drafted in the first round, 14th overall, at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.Shattenkirk was drafted 14th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.
