Kenny Doughty (born 27 March 1975) is an English actor and director.Doughty was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.Doughty won the Best Actor award at the Palm Beach International Film Festival in 2005 for his performance in The Aryan Couple.He is currently playing new regular DS Aiden Healy opposite Brenda Blethyn in ITV's Vera. Following this he will star opposite Sheridan Smith in ITV's Black Work, expected to air mid 2015.Doughty completed a UK tour of Simon Beaufoy's stage play The Full Monty in 2013.
