Ken Ireland (born January 2, 1952) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player. Ireland was selected by the New York Rangers in the 6th round (95th overall) of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.Born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Ireland played major junior hockey with the Estevan/New Westminster Bruins of the Western Hockey League. Drafted by the New York Rangers in 1972, he went on to play professionally with the Providence Reds, Omaha Knights, Albuquerque Six-Guns, and Long Island Cougars. In 1975 Ireland joined the Kimberley Dynamiters of the Western International Hockey League where he helped the team to win the 1978 Allan Cup. Wikipedia
