Joseph M. "Joe" Remiro (born 1947) was one of the founding members of the Symbionese Liberation Army. He used the name "Bo" when he was with the group.Remiro was born and raised in San Francisco in a lower middle-class family, where he attended Roman Catholic schools.He attended San Francisco City College, dropping out in 1965 to join the US Army.Remiro served as a LRRP and served two tours in Vietnam as a member of the 101st Airborne DivisionHe had training as an auto mechanic.
