Jeremy Gordon Thompson (born 1948) is an English journalist and former news presenter for Sky News, the 24-hour television news service operated by Sky UK. He was based at Sky News Centre in West London. He was previously a Sports Correspondent for BBC News, ITN, and a foreign correspondent in Hong Kong, Johannesburg, and Washington. Until 2016, he regularly presented from 5pm to 7pm, Mondays to Thursdays.Thompson was educated at The King's School, a boarding independent school for boys (now co-educational and non-boarding), in the market town of Worcester, where presenter Chris Tarrant was a fellow pupil.
