Jakob Ingebrigtsen (born 19 September 2000) is a Norwegian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500 metres.He won the gold medal in the juniors' event at the 2016 European Cross Country Championships in Chia, Italy. On 27 May 2017 he became the youngest athlete to run the mile distance in less than 4 minutes, when he finished in 11th place in a Diamond League race at Hayward Field in Eugene, USA.
