Julianna Michelle Childs (born March 24, 1966), known professionally as J. Michelle Childs, is a South Carolina lawyer who is a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.Born in Detroit, Childs earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1991. Also in 1991, Childs earned a Master of Arts degree in personnel and employment relations from the University of South Carolina's business school (now known as the Moore School of Business).
