He has self-released four albums: The Intro (2005), So Close (2008) and Phantom Boyz Present: J Rice (2011), and 12+[1] (2014) with original singles "Afraid of Love" (2010) and "Thank You for the Broken Heart" (2011). He has never signed with any label, and has been a youtuber since 2011, building two channels Jriceproductions & Mineworksanimations.
