Hudson Fasching (born July 28, 1995) is an American ice hockey winger, currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL).Fasching played high school hockey for Apple Valley High School. He then played two seasons for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program in the United States Hockey League.Fasching committed to the University of Minnesota in December 2011. He was named to the Big Ten Conference's All-Freshman team after the 2013–14 season.As a member of the Golden Gophers, Fasching recorded 94 points (46 goals and 48 assists) in 115 career games. He helped the Gophers win three straight regular season championships. His junior year, his final year at the school, he was an alternate captain and finished tied for first on the team in goals.
