David McCourt is an Irish-American entrepreneur with experience within the telecom and cable television industries. He grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts, and is a graduate of Georgetown University. McCourt was an early contributor to the development of transatlantic fiber networks and has gone on to found or buy 20 companies in nine countries. McCourt has completed capital raising and merger transactions valued in excess of $7 billion. McCourt's net worth is estimated at $750 million.
