David Ellison (born January 9, 1983) is an American film producer and the founder and CEO of Skydance Media.David Ellison was born in Santa Clara County, California. He is the son of billionaire Oracle Corporation CTO Larry Ellison, and his ex-wife, Barbara Boothe Ellison. His maternal grandmother was of Jewish descent and his maternal grandfather was of Italian descent. He has one sister, film producer Megan Ellison. He dropped out of the University of Southern California in 2005.Ellison is the CEO and founder of Skydance Media. In 2010, Skydance raised $350 million with IJNR TRUST to co-finance and co-produce movies with Paramount. He produced the 2015 film, Terminator Genisys.
