David Bitan (Hebrew: דוד ביטן, born 8 April 1960) is an Israeli lawyer and politician.Bitan was born in Morocco and moved to Israel at the age of five. During his national service in the Israeli Defense Forces he served as a medic. He later attended Tel Aviv University, where he studied law, graduating in 1987. He later opened his own law firm.A member of Likud, he became a member of Rishon LeZion City Council in 1988 after becoming head of the party's Rishon LeZion branch.
