Chloë Grace Moretz (; born February 10, 1997) is an American actress and model. She began her acting career in 2004 at age seven, and received her first award nomination the following year for The Amityville Horror. Other early film credits include The Poker House (2008), (500) Days of Summer (2009), Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) and Let Me In (2010).Moretz' breakthrough came in 2010 through her performance as Hit-Girl in the superhero film Kick-Ass and its sequel Kick-Ass 2; afterwards, she has starred in a number of recognized films such as Hugo (2011), Dark Shadows (2012), Carrie (2013), If I Stay (2014), The Equalizer (2014) and The 5th Wave (2016). Moretz provided the voice of Hit-Girl for Kick-Ass: The Game and Emily Kaldwin in Dishonored.
