Black Rob (born Robert Ross; July 12, 1976) is a rapper who was formerly signed to Bad Boy Records. He is best known for the 2000 hit single "Whoa!", which reached the Billboard Hot 100.Ross grew up in Harlem and began rapping between the age of 11 and 12. He was inspired by the artists he listened to regularly, including Spoonie Gee, Doug E. Fresh, and Slick Rick.
