Ann Hart Coulter (; born December 8, 1961) is an American conservative political commentator, author, syndicated columnist and media pundit. A graduate of Cornell University (B.A., 1984) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1988), she launched her career as a corporate lawyer and law clerk before serving on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in the mid‑1990s. Coulter gained national prominence in the late 1990s as a television legal analyst and has since authored more than a dozen best‑selling political books, including Slander (2002), Godless (2006), and In Trump We Trust (2016).
