Aaron James Bummer (born September 21, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).Bummer attended Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Arizona and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 31st round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. He did not sign and played college baseball the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He was then drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 19th round of the 2014 MLB Draft.Bummer was called up to the majors for the first time on July 27, 2017 and made his Major League debut against the Chicago Cubs, striking out the first batter he faced, Anthony Rizzo.
