Anthony Aaron Zych (; born August 7, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2015.Zych traveled 35 miles (56 km) each way from Monee, Illinois, to attend St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago, Illinois. He play played second base for the school's baseball team, and also occasionally served as their closer.After graduating from high school, the Chicago Cubs selected Zych in the 46th round of the 2008 MLB Draft, but he opted not to sign. Zych enrolled at the University of Louisville, where he played college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals. Competing in the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2010, Zych was named the most outstanding relief pitcher and prospect. He served as the closer for Louisville. Wikipedia
