LONDON - Taylor Swift will mark the end of the reputation era by shutting down her personal app The Swift Life in February.

The app which was launched in 2017 in conjunction with her sixth studio album Reputation, allowed fans to interact with each other and access exclusive tickets, photos and videos.

In a statement the singer revealed to her fans that the platform would be permanently closed next month.

"As the reputation era comes to an end, our time on The Swift Life will be ending too," the announcement reads. "The app is no longer available to download and on February 1, 2019 The Swift Life will shut down. Current fans have until this date to utilize the virtual currency they've accumulated. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted."
