STEM camp now in its 12th year

Friday was STEM camp at Earle Brown Elementary school in Brooklyn Center. The summer program is aimed at introducing black students to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) coursework. The National Society of Black Engineers, which sponsors the program, has a goal of graduating 10,000 black engineers annually by 2025.
