Scott Morrison shouldn’t apologise to French over submarine deal Richardson

Sky News contributor Graham Richardson says he hopes Prime Minister Scott Morrison doesn’t apologise to the French over the scrapped submarine deal.

“I think Australia is entitled to make sovereign decisions in its own interest, and that’s what this is – a decision in our own interests,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.

“You’ve gotta be prepared to wear some flak when you do that.

“The French aren’t gonna like it, you can’t expect them to, I wouldn’t if it was done to me.

“But in our case, this is a reality – we have to go with the American option.”
