Sky News host Peta Credlin says Liberal MP Nicolle Flint has "fired back" at the ABC – accusing Annabel Crabb's new documentary series about women in politics of "blatantly misrepresenting" conservatives.

"Flint observes in the first episode of the documentary, Liberal women appear 28 times, while Labor, Democrat and Greens women appear 66 times. Hardly fair," Ms Credlin said.

"When Nicolle Flint speaks on this issue, I think the media need to listen.

"She's had to put up with the worst kind of harassment and intimidation, at the hands of Get Up at the last election and vile online abuse from the likes of former Fairfax journalist Mike Carlton.

"And yet, she's kept campaigning – fearlessly – for better female representation of women in the Liberal Party and a better deal for all women in politics."
