Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the Liberal party are "a lot more disciplined" than Labor when it comes to managing the economy as Australia is now "outperforming" the rest of the world.

“We’re a lot more disciplined than they are (Labor) when it comes to economic management – the Australian people had a very clear choice at the last election and we went on to legislate our tax cuts which have already started to roll out," he said.

“We will continue to provide that strong economic management that Australia needs – and the fact that we’ve outperformed the rest of the world is evidence that our economic plan is working.”
