about 3 years in news

The “rest of the world will be watching” Australia and New Zealand as the two nations open up international travel to each other, according to ACCOR Pacific Chief Executive Simon McGrath.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced on Tuesday the trans-Tasman bubble will open on Monday April 19.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison welcomed the announcement and declared the move a “win-win outcome."

Mr McGrath told Sky News the rest of the world will be “watching the way in which we open our borders” as countries across the globe continue to grapple with the pandemic.
