Prominent ‘writers and academics of the Left’ call for an end to cancel culture

A swathe of "very prominent writers and academics of the Left" have come out to denounce 'cancel culture' according to Sky news host Andrew Bolt.
Over 150 writers and academics have reportedly signed a letter stating the current "atmosphere will ultimately harm the most vital causes of our time".
The phrase relates to removing support for public figures on the basis of their opinions or actions.
