The radical left-wing view of the world promoted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is “enough to drive a guy like me to become a Republican,” Sky News contributor Campbell Newman says.

“I think we are all just getting a bit sick and tired of those two ex-royals … lecturing us on these matters and pushing forward their woke view of the world which shows by the way a pretty breathtaking lack of knowledge about history”.

“In relation to history and colonial experience it was far better to be subjects of Great Britain,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“I’ve been very happy to support the Royal Family and the Queen as our head of state, but these people are degrading the institution right now”.

“It’s enough to drive a guy like me to become a Republican, I’m not quite there yet, but it’s coming," he said.
