Democrats unwilling to ‘destroy reputation’ to defend Joe Biden

The Democrats are unwilling to defend, in a “full throated way,” Presidential Nominee Joe Biden who is “hiding in his basement and has clear cognitive problems” according to Daily Telegraph columnist Miranda Devine.

Mr Biden is facing sexual assault allegations dating back to 1993, a claim he vehemently denied while appearing on MSNBC’s program Morning Joe.

Ms Devine said Mr Biden received a “real going over” as since the allegations became public, the media has been “under a lot of pressure”.

“The Democrats and Joe Biden are really hoist with their own petard in this particular case”.

Ms Devine told Sky News host Sharri Markson the Democrats made “such a mountain” out of sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate Confirmation process, holding the mantra “believe all women”.

Now party officials are reluctant to fully support Mr Biden during this process, she said, with many in their “heart of hearts” unwilling to “destroy their reputation”.

“I’m not sure that people think he’s a great candidate”.
