Mikael Ymer (born 9 September 1998 in Skara) is a Swedish tennis player of Ethiopian descent. He is the younger brother of fellow tennis player Elias Ymer.Ymer has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 337, achieved on 17 July 2017. He has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 193 achieved on 24 July 2017.Ymer made his first junior major final at 2015 Wimbledon, where he lost to Reilly Opelka in straight sets.In 2015 Ymer managed to claim his second European Championships title (U18), beating Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the final in straight sets.
