Luuk de Jong (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈlyk də ˈjɔŋ], born 27 August 1990) is a Dutch footballer, who plays as a forward for PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands football team.He previously played for DZC '68, De Graafschap, Twente, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Newcastle United, before joining PSV in 2014. His brother Siem de Jong is also a professional football player, currently playing for Ajax.De Jong was born in Aigle, Switzerland, as a son of two Dutch volleyball players who played professionally in that country.
