Jonathan Charles "Jon" Gray, born November 5, 1991, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Rockies chose Gray, a 6'4" 245 lb. pitcher, with the third pick in the 2013 MLB Draft. Gray previously attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and the University of Oklahoma, where he played college baseball.Gray attended Chandler High School in Chandler, Oklahoma. He played baseball, basketball, and football for the Lions, focusing on baseball his senior year.
