Jared Thomas Goff (born October 14, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at California, and was selected by the Rams with the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. Goff was a first-team All-Pac-12 quarterback in 2015.Goff was born and raised in Novato, California, the son of Jerry Goff and Nancy Goff. Jared's father is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the Expos, Pirates, and Astros.
